Shane Rogers - Software Developer - is probably the name most
associated with this web site. Shane created the V8Supercar Pick
10 tipping competition in early 1997, which later became the
V8Supercar Pick 10 project and then conrod.com.au.
Shane was Managing Editor of conrod.com.au until late 2001, when
he "demoted" himself to Software Developer to concentrate
on other activities.
Shane is responsible for the ongoing development of all systems
used on the web site, and site design issues. Shane also co-ordinates
the Pick 10 tipping competition.
Web sites created by Shane have been featured in prominent
publications including The Weekend Australian, Sunday Herald-Sun,
Australasian Motorsport News and Australian Auto Action.
Most of the software on the V8Supercar Pick 10 web site
has been designed and developed by Shane himself, including VESRIX.
After completing his Bachelor of Business (Accounting)/Bachelor
of Computing, and various positions in the IT industry, Shane is now
IT Administrator for the Confederation
of Australian Motor Sport.
