Roworth Joins PWR

PWR Racing is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Roworth to the position of Marketing and Business Development Manager. Mr Roworth comes from a similar role at the championship-winning Stone Brothers Racing operation, and will commence duties at PWR following Round 3 of the V8 Supercar Championship in New Zealand. Part of his brief will be to oversee the operations of the PWR Racing team.
PWR Performance Products, based on the Gold Coast, plans to open a Victorian branch in mid-July and Mr Roworth will be instrumental in establishing the business in Victoria and guiding its structure and direction.
Kees Weel, who co-owns PWR Performance Products and PWR Racing with his son Paul Weel, said he was delighted to welcome an industry player of Mr Roworth’s standing.
“I’ve known Mark for a long time and have a lot of respect for the way he goes about his business. The fact that Stone Brothers won the championship last year and continue to be the benchmark reflects very well on him,” Kees said.
“You don’t win a V8 Supercar championship these days unless your entire operation is in good order, so Mark’s organisational ability is attractive to us and we believe will translate well into the commercial side of our business.”
