SBR LAUNCHES NEW-LOOK WEBSITE

28/4/2004 11:26 (Press Release) - After months of design and construction, Stone Brothers Racing has launched a new-look website.

The site will continue to be located at www.stonebrothersracing.com.au, but will now rest as one of the premier V8 Supercar sites.

Team co-owner Ross Stone says that the new site, which has been designed and constructed by Icemedia in Brisbane, will be a tremendously valuable tool as SBR tries to maintain its position as the categories leading team on and off the track .

“A high-end website is something that our fans have been crying out for,” said Stone.

“There is no doubt that the website will help us service our fans , sponsors and partners much better and give us the chance to continually update everyone with happenings at SBR.

“The on-line merchandise store is also a fantastic tool for us whether fans want Caltex Havoline Racing, Pirtek Racing or SBR gear.

“There is no doubt that the look and feel of the site is first class and I look forward to the site evolving as SBR moves forward.”

The website features all the information you need on Australia’s leading V8 Supercar team.

There is a news and events section which will provide all the latest information from the team – including race weekends and test days.

There is an extensive image gallery, which not only provides images from each round of the 2004 championship, but also a catalog of images over the team’s six-year history – including shots from the team’s 1998 Bathurst 1000 win.

Team drivers Marcos Ambrose and Russell Ingall are also covered thoroughly, including results from everyone one of their V8 Supercar races.

There is also links to all SBR’s sponsors, including Ford, Caltex, Pirtek and Bosch.

“There is an amazing amount of information on the site and it has taken a lot of time and effort to bring it all together,” said Stone.

“I think the final result has certainly been worth it.”

The V8 Supercars will compete in the third round of the V8 Supercar Championship Series at Pukekohe in New Zealand this weekend.
