V8 Supercar stars revving up Paddy's Markets

Here’s something that will appeal to motor heads of all ages! On Sunday August 8th, Sydney’s Paddy’s Market Flemington is hosting a V8 Supercar day. With the stars and cars of the Australian V8 Supercar circuit on show as well as heaps of prizes and give-aways, the day will be every car enthusiasts dream come true.
The V8 Supercar Day is being put on in joint conjunction with AVESCO and will kick off from 10am with free entry and free parking.
Featuring:
• Autograph opportunities from V8 Supercar stars, Mark Skaife, Rick Kelly, Jason Bright, David Besnard, Mark Noske, Mark Winterbottom, Paul Dumbrell and Jason Richards.
• See the display V8 Showcars up close and personal.
• Also check out the B-Double Avesco Transporter. This state-of-the-art truck measuring an impressive 25 metres, transports the official WPS Audi Safety Car and Course Car and equipment to each round of both the V8 Supercar Championship Series and the Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Series.
• Challenge your V8 Supercar skills on the Sony Playstation racing game pods and experience the race feeling for yourself.
Visitors to Flemington will be in for the chance to win a hot lap around Oran Park Raceway at the next V8 Supercar Championship Series round at Oran Park on August 13-15.
There will also be 20 passes up for grabs for the next race meet at Oran Park Raceway (August 13-15) plus heaps of other trivia, prizes and give away's throughout the day.

This year the battle on track between Ford and Holden looks set to continue. Ford’s Marcos Ambrose’s win last year after Holden’s long lasting reign on the sport has meant the battle is back on.'
