R13S PRE-QUAL - Crambrook, Mullan sent home

Layton Crambrook and Phonsy Mullan are early casualties of the V8 Ultimate at Sandown Raceway, ousted in this morning’s pre-qualifying sessions.
Nine drivers battled for the final seven positions on the grid, with Crambrook and Mullan just missing the cut.
Tomas Mezera was quickest this morning in the Imrie Motorsport Commodore, ahead of Dugal McDougall and Young Lion Rick Kelly, making his solo Shell Series debut.
Paul Romano, Rodney Forbes and Matthew White all survived. John Faulkner avoided the cull by a couple of tenths, finishing seventh.
Qualifying begins later today.
