DJR cleans-up on and off the track
4/3/2000 12:05 (Jason Whittaker) - Dick Johnson's Shell Helix Racing operation is set to clean-up this year, both on and off the track. The Queensland-based operation has joined forces with the Clean Up Australia Day program to increase awareness of the national campaign.
Like their Clean Up Australia rubbish bags, Steven Johnson and Paul Radisich are
hoping to bag some wins in 2000.

Together with the Ford Motor Company, who are a major sponsor of the program, DJR and his two chargers Paul Radisich and son Steven Johnson will lend their support to the campaign, this year.
"Clean Up Australia Day is a fantastic event which brings out the best in people and I am pleased that as a team we can be a part of it," Dick Johnson said.
"I hope that we can encourage motorsport followers to get behind the campaign and leave our racetracks litter free."
Dick's two red and yellow Shell Helix Falcons will carry the Clean Up Australia message across the bottom of the windscreen for the duration of this year's Shell Series Championship.
"It reflects both Dick and the team's tremendous community-minded spirit," Ford Racing Chief Howard Marsden said.
"Ford got involved with Clean Up Australia because we wanted to make a significant contribution to the continued improvement of our communities."
"We think it's great that Dick, Paul and Steve are prepared to encourage the thousands of people who follow V8 Supercar racing to also become involved," he concluded.
The Clean Up Australia campaign, now in its 11th year, has been responsible for the removal of over 150,000 tonnes of rubbish from the country. Last year 750,000 people participated in the program.
National Clean Up Australia Day will be held this Sunday, March 5.
